Right of Withdrawal.

Statutory withdrawal instructions for consumers under EU/German law, including the model withdrawal form.

Under § 356 Abs. 5 BGB, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely when we begin execution of the contract (i.e., make the download available), provided that at checkout you (a) expressly consented to the download starting before the withdrawal period ended, and (b) acknowledged that your right of withdrawal thereby lapses. This express consent is captured by Digistore24 during checkout by means of a mandatory confirmation checkbox.

The instructions below explain the statutory right of withdrawal in full, as required under Article 246a § 1 (2) Sentence 2 EGBGB, so that you can make an informed decision at checkout.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Premature Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal

In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not delivered on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal expires if:

  1. we have begun with the execution of the contract, after
  2. you have expressly agreed that we begin with the execution of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
  3. you have acknowledged your awareness that by your consent, upon commencement of the execution of the contract, you lose your right of withdrawal, and
  4. we have provided you with confirmation in accordance with § 312f (3) BGB.
